You're right, as I said before, I voted against it because there is no transparency about what the NAV team owns, how many coins they hold.
How come it's no secret Ripple team owns 60% of XRP, but when there are question about NAV you get insulted...
Why does it matter? The XRP founders share is interesting because it was premined which means there is a bigger chance the team will dump it all and go live on an island. You can see the size of the top NAV wallets, the biggest ones are exchanges - but every coin has rich people with loads of the currency, what difference does it make if it's the team themselves? The devs have said they are not the biggest holders though.
