Well life before marriage is much easier than after marriage, because instead of eating delicious food for you, you will not do it because you need to think of your partner and your children. You do not have much problem because you are just thinking of yourself, nothing more.
I don't think that this is a real issue. If you want to have some particular type of food, then you can have it even after marriage (as long as you are paying for it). The only thing to remember here is that you need to share the food with your spouse and children.
