Was about to post the exact same thing, but looks like you have already picked up this obvious merit buying or multi-account merit sharing! It could be multi-accounts, as the poor grammar in the posts from the merit sender and receiver is very similar.

I think you'd have more people contributing to sharing merit problems if there was an incentive, like receiving merit for being the first person to point out an issue.
