Restoring Order to the Online Content Distribution Industry

Hey, everyone! My name is Garrett, Im the community director for MediaCoin. We are developing an encrypted media distribution platform that uses AES on both client and server combined with the use of a wallets private key.

Presently, we have two sets of tokens, one on the Ethereum Classic network (QMCT) and one on the Ethereum network(QMCTe). There are two billion tokens, one billion of each kind.

The intention of the platform is to offer content creators a delivery system that will secure their product from being pirated. We will also allow the artists network to keep 100% of the revenue generated on our platform. Simply put, MediaCoins intention is to protect artists and their content from theft, and restore order to the music industry.

Were seeking exclusive content that will only be available on MediaCoins platform, but are willing to start with non-exclusive content as this will be the case for most artists. Were not interested in charging users on a subscription-based payment system. Our belief is that users should only pay for what you consume, and you should only be supporting the artists who create content you enjoy.

Once the platform is running, users will have the option to engage in numerous opt-in activities that will allow them to earn tokens. Those tokens will have real value as a cryptocurrency on the platform as well as off of the platform where you will be able to buy and sell the tokens at a market rate on an exchange for cryptocurrencies.

Down the road, we plan to release our own blockchain: The Quantum Safe Blockchain. It will be a POW + proprietary proof system. The blockchain will also be a true blockchain that, unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin, is resistant to an attack via quantum computers. As of right now thats what we are going to say on that topic, but stay tuned.
