I have a desktop that I've dedicated to airdrops, I don't download every airdrop they have to sound good, innovative, and I always wait for the first group of people to go to slaughter before downloading the wallets. I also try to wait for a "trusted member" to verify that the code doesn't have viruses and such and do the "virustotal" check etc. Even then I still feel like its inevitable this device will get a virus at some point haha. I know that "trusted members" is also a fickle thing, so I don't put too much weight into their analysis.
I have noob questions that I'd love to have answered.
1. Would sandboxing the wallets in multiple different sandboxes using programs like "Sandboxie" be a viable solution? Wouldn't they still be using the same network to communicate, so what issues could arise from that? Is it even viable?
2. The same question as above, but in regards to virtual machines ran on the same network, what issues can arise from that? Can one virtual machine infect another,? What about the host machine?
3. Can a virus from one computer infect another computer on the same wifi network?
4. If I have multiple routers, would that be considered 2 separate networks and can network 1 infect network 2? or are they all the same network since it's connected to the same modem & internet connection.
Thanks, I appreciate it.
PS - feel free to move this to a better place if needed, I didn't see a altcoin technical section so I figured this was the safest bet.
