Yes bitcoin is not dead even though so many other alt coins are coming up bit coin has a long way to go and if more countries and big companies starts to accept bitcoin as currency it would be the ultimate goal and bitcoin would be here for good.
It doesn't mean that it's dead due to dropping value of the currency. It is still exist in the market especially in trading. It will never dead if there are still wanting to learn and to income.
