Why Altcoins price depends on bitcoin value ? Its always going up and down when the bit coin price change.
As we know usually when Bitcoin rises, Altcoin also rises, and vice versa. because Bitcoin is used as a benchmark for other Altcoin.
Sure, bitcoin is always a benchmark, but at the same time, bull runs can also mean a lot for altcoins, because I have seen some instances when altcoins get dumped as well in a bitcoin bull run.
It seems when bitcoin is in consolidation, which is the only time they get some pretty good push in the market and we get to see them hitting a very high percentage. It is something we have to stick with for now, and which is why I monitor bitcoin when I am holding any alt.
