I just started with this so maybe it turns out I'm completely wrong here... but what I looked for was the following:
*Good project idea
*Enough people intrested in the project
*Good team
*Good bounty manager
*Enough funds distrubuted to bounty hunters
So basicly the same stuff I look for in an ICO except for the bounty part.

Other considerations:
* large community (telegram, twitter, etc)
* active community managers
* check how the managers handle questions and complaints. If they only tell people to 'follow the rules' it's a red flag for me. They should be supportive towards members
* avoid bounties that are being managed by newbies. (Some may be good, but there is a greater risk that it's not reaching the finish)
