There is no merit to that suggestion. 
The merit system is working well, and it's time members learnt to live with it.

If the Smerits regenerates everyday then the merit system has no value at all everyone will keep sharing their merits to rank up.Don't care about the rank up for now just try to make good contribution to the forum,if you make enough contribution then you will receive merits as well,but still the system is new it needs time to settle down.Let's see how it will go in the future.
