Ofcourse yes. But only if you include the token users along with Ethereum users. There are tons of tokens on the ether blockchain alone so comparatively there are much more people that use Ether than bitcoin. Moreover with increase in transaction time of bitcoin ethereum has become even more popular. Can't say it can beat BTC in price or market cap but surely its favorite of almost every crypto noob.
