Litecoin is faster, monero is more private, ETH has smart contracts and there are much more altcoin with much more features, even Bitcoin Cash is faster than Bitcoin, but BTC keeps rising much faster.
Don't you think it's just because of the name?
The reason why bitcoins is rising much faster is that, it is the first cryptocurrency that has been created and altcoins are just created in order to compete with bitcoins since btc now a days is very expensive and altcoins is also profitable even though it was cheaper and we can convert altcoins to btc as well so every coin is profitable.
