Well I believe DeepOnion is technically way better than all other privacy coins. Lots of unique features, constant development and improvement with wallet software updates coming out on a regular basis. Lots of communication from the team. Yes, this coin has a premine but these are distributed to the community by airdrop to the ones who are willing to participate. This was clear from the beginning. There are tons of coins out there with a premine.
I don't think this is a scam at all. I think 95% of all ICO's, if not all of them are the real scams. Most ICO's have nothing more than a token that does nothing really. A token that is used simply for collecting money from people that will start speculating on a rise of price of the token when a company tweets that they are announcing an announcement that will happen in the near future.
So a unique coin with a massive community, that is totally private, that you can mine and/or stake with it's own blockchain is worth way more than a simple ERC20 token that you cannot mine or do anything else with. Today there are a total of 48178 Erc20 Token contracts according to Etherscan.io
So no, DeepOnion I think is NOT A SCAM, but hey that's my opinion. I'm collecting this one. After the airdrop period ends this coin will be allowed to be listed on the bigger exchanges since most exchanges never list coins in airdrop-phase because of changing circulation of coins. I hope this coin will do well this year. We will find out. I'm excited for this one
