Think it will be top 3 coin at the end of the year, so yeah I would recommend it. Just try etherium and neo and compare them. For me neo felt more smooth.
I'm not so sure about that the top 3 coins are Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple, and none of them seems to be ready to give up their spot, we know bitcoin is going to keep in the first place in the market cap for the foreseeable future, Ethereum has been the second coin for a long time and Ripple has also huge market so I do not see NEO taking the place of any of those three coins anytime soon.
