You need to open an account first here - https://c-patex.com/signup - and deposit any amount of LiteCoin to use to place your vote... this stops 'spam votes', gets them more users, and they share out the coins received... which I think sounds like a very fair way of adding new coins to me...

As you can see the leading coin so far this week is ReddCoin with 0.12 LTC (about USD21) so if a few people join in it shouldn't be rocket science to get COLX to #1 in the not too distant future...
