I already known bitcoin since 2011 and even have 7
BTC back then. Move forward 2017, I rediscover bitcoin again thru a mutual friend and then I scrambled where I've put my address and private key. It took me early January-February last year to look everywhere, sadly though I didn't find it and I was so depressed. But hey, I already recovered, I should have tons of money right now specially the December madness. But there's no one to blame but my self. And what keeps me going is that I'm not that late to join the bandwagon. And now I have save enough thru my trading and some from my signature campaign and its close to 2
BTC in my hardware wallet.
Don't blame yourself. I had the exact same situation, I had 0.6
BTC mined by me back then, then I got 4 more. It wasn't worth anything and at the time I was still living with my mom, she kept telling me to stop using so much electricity. I stopped, the bitcoins were worthless so I didn't give a shit back then.
Fast forward to 2017 for some reason I remembered, searched everywhere for the key and then remembered I had it on my hard drive that was formatted. It's not your fault, if it was still worth peanuts nobody would care.
