Coins with high community support and good real life use cases might survive for longer term as demand for which will always tend to high. But this doesn't always comes true for example bitconnect Ponzi got so much community support before getting busted.

It also depends upon roadmap of the token and Dev team behind the coin. I think hardly 20-30% of existing coin might exist for next decade.
All that kept bitconnect alive was the support from community and the investment returns that people were making from it. I didn’t really trusted bitconnect enough from the starting to invest in it cause I never really saw anything of much utility in that coin and what it had was nothing different that what other coins were offering. So its mandatory to do research and analysis before investing in a coin rather than just pouring in money because some people said or you are watching it grow past few months or year.
