Thanks for your thoughts  can I give you some updates?  There is a fully upgraded & hardened windows wallet being released this Sunday, March 18 (release Trilby).  We have been redeveloping and testing the wallet for several months now and using in pre-release pilot mode.  It's really fast and highly secure. 

A brand new Linux wallet will be coming in April, and a Mac wallet in May.  More excitingly, later this year we'll be releasing a mobile wallet for both Android and IOS. The mobile wallet will include some cool new features to help spread Tips around the community.
