women is the same as men in terms of right which is a must and responsibilities and obligations which is just and humane. gender equality is the proper term for that. living in a fair and equal society is a good thing and healthy environment to be lived with.
If we talk about equality of opportunities for realizing potentials, then yes, they are equal. A woman can work at any job, a man too. It is clear that we are not talking about all women in general - there are personal inclinations, abilities, possibilities of the organism, finally. For example, a miniature young lady can not play basketball - there will not be enough growth. But in general - there are no such professions and occupations that would be inaccessible to women (the same is true for men).
If we are talking about equality of results, then here is also equality. By applying effort, a person can achieve interesting results to him regardless of sex. Someone needs more effort, some less, and this is not related to gender (although many prefer to think that it is connected). The fact that women in general are less in high positions, is not connected in any way with the infernal conspiracy of men.
