If I was a big whale, I wouldnt feel comfortable with btc dropping below the $3000-$4000 area. That makes it easier and leaves the unnecessary risk for big players and large capital moving in, and taking large market shares.
Limiting your your ability to manipulate and control the market, to the extent you have been able to do so far.
But thats just ONE of many factors and variables to keep in mind.

BTC is done, BCH will soon flip it and hopefully BTX will be close behind. But for the next 30-60 days its ginna be really painful for those who cant handle seeing a huge drop in their portfolios value.
This is a joke, right? BCH overtaking BTC? That was the rumor, like, months ago. I don't think on-chain scaling is the solution -- and interesting that it comes from a thread advertising "Segwit."
