Bitcoin is still centralized by Chinese miners (see Cobras latest comments) so they want to do a PoW change which will never get consensus. Also, even with LN, BTC still has blocks that are too small, also per their own devs. And if LN works on bitcoin then thats a big bonus for BTX, thank you for getting it all worked out so BTX can now leapfrog BTC.
BTC is dead, people just dont see it yet. Too much centralization, too much infighting and too many anarchists to ever get any innovation rolled out in a timely manner. I expect their best devs to soon move to other coins [like BTX].
