LOL, does this sound familiar?

It does, resemblance with Bitcoin Onecoin is uncanny.  Cheesy

FTFY.

As has been pointed out a number of times, the original post was not about an altcoin.

DagCoin is not an altcoin. It is a concept that originally was meant to be used as a Bitcoin sidechain.

Along the way, this thread has been hijacked in order to promote a scheme concocted by a group with no technical background in crypto, but who are using a hard sell MLM structure to market bogus educational packages (DagUniversity!) to gain exposure to

Quote from: github
Dagcoin uses byteball network as an underlying platform.

They also state on github

Quote from: dagcoin
Our mission is to provide alternative currency for everyday using, focusing on Asian market to help unbanked people manage their funds better.

This is similar to the blahblah mission statement of the currently unravelling huge Onecoin scam

Quote from: onecoin
OneCoin company's vision – to provide access to financial services to everyone, including the “unbanked” people around the world.

It is not therefore surprising to find that the upper management of this Dagcoin are ex Onecoin "Ambassadors".
(Ironically Onecoin, despite its claims, never had a blockchain and Byteball doesn't either, but for differing reasons.)

The idea of investing in a coin infested with the likes of Nils Grossberg and "Mighty Eagle" Kari Wahlroos, selling thru bogus "educational packages" with compulsory lock in periods is frightening, let alone the fact that the coin is based on Byteball technology involving trust in a small number of centrally selected witnesses.
