Just my luck, come back after about a month and things don't work. I'm using the config below, but seeing some long downtimes for the addnode addresses and I don't seem to be connecting to the network. Are there any others I can/should plug in?

Sure, you can always go to
http://hobo.gets-it.net/ and click on the number under connections it will have some addnodes to use.
