In fact I suggested that very new members should be restricted in posting in some threads as well.
Nah I think that's a little bit extreme. And what what exactly do you mean by "some" threads, how would one decide which topics newbies can post in and which not. Tryantt's suggestion is better to restrict them in some sections for instance bitcoin discussion where spam is out of control. Maybe we should just ban any thread that has the word 'merit' in its title or first post.
