After you made this post, bitcoin is still hanging below $10000 and two months had already passed. Based on the performance of bitcoins this year, I do not think that it will be able to touch $50000 unless we hear some major announcement like major reduction in transfer fees. However, $30000 is still achievable by the year end and I will be content with that much growth as well. I have heard that PayPal is going to increase its fees all over the world and this may work in favor of bitcoins.
