I think you should choose ETH, as it is already stable, it price grew up, it proved that it works. So I think that it is less risky.

Bitcoin is always better than ethereum in terms of making an investment. Ethereum is just another giant altcoin while the bitcoin is the king the cryptocurrency market. Once the bitcoin is affected by something such as correction or massive sell-off the ethereum will follow and the whole market will be affected too. If you are afraid bitcoin is going to die soon, after bitcoin which coin is the next? you tell me. Always go with bitcoin, heck - I don't even trust ethereum.
