Previously, people paid with gold and silver. Then the precious metals stopped using in circulation to pay for work and purchases. And they came to other money. They became paper and metal. There is a slight possibility that what you have said will happen in the future but I don't think that majority of the people on this planet will have an access to the internet which is the main backbone of Bitcoin and other forms of crypto currencies, This problem about the internet access will make it hard for other people to understand about what is a crypto currency and what is this technology for.  Cool
