It all comes down to difficulty vs. hashrate. The difficulty at this point is insanely high even if there was 100x the hashrate there is now the blocks would still be delayed. It would be 100x faster than it is now but still slow and not profitable for the miners. Without the miners nothing happens... MKTCoin has to offer some incentive for the miners to come back.
