allow me to reply in comparison.
What would happen to the world if Wright brothers never tried to make an airplane. They were considered crazy at the time and they did certain success after all odds against them. Their story finished but better and improved planes and aircrafts rised. Haven`t they? It is great to be able to fly First class now.
There is plenty of comparison I can give you, however the point is we and others trying can do it better. Lending as a part or whole of the concept is a brilliant idea as long there is such volatility and arbitrage opportunities on the crypto market or other markets.
Our Barter and Merchant program and 30%-30%-40% strategy is unique as it will increase and self sustain or stabilize the value of the project and community involved.
For example, you have a thing that you would like to sell and get ORN from which you can get daily interest and then you can either:

Of course there are people with less good intentions, not to say negative or bad decisions and intentions in every idea,market and where ever the money is involved.
What Bitconnect could have done is late now to speculate, but one thing is certain, they could have avoid US market, they could have do it differently for the community they built.
But everyone with bigger experience in trading when asked can you earn 2% a day on crypto for yourself would say : "YES"
Sure these are sour times for lending platforms but after recession comes expansion in natural patterns ALWAYS.
We see these times as big opportunities to improve and make things better.
We need to move forward and prove different.
