There is an ongoing crowdfunding for the project named "The Abyss" that is aiming to let players of a certain games as well with developers to earn by playing nor creating games. Unlike Steam, The Abyss offers a groundbreaking motivational and multilevel referral system, allowing gamers to earn from in-game and social activities, and other gamers’ payments as well. By joining The Abyss, developers will reduce their marketing expenses and receive an extra income from referral payments made in other games on the platform. Im not sure of them adding DOTA2 on their list but Im pretty confident that they would as this is one of the best games I have ever played.
