Huh, well, I didn't know that part of the story, and I guess you didn't either until last week.
No, I did not think about looking at iridiumdev account messages since last week !
That comment was specific to your earlier comment that you didn't see the problem with CryptoNight ASICs and even went so far as to say if we were to block ASICs why not block GPUs? Why not, indeed? Let's go full reductio ad absurdum and even block CPUs so that we have to use a calculator to work out the hashes by hand!?!
It was a spike to start discussions and listen to advices.
Okay, I don't do Slack and I avoid Discord unless absolutely necessary so any information disseminated on those two platforms but not here is effectively non-existent to me (and many others, I suspect). That said, I am very happy to see your opinion on ASICs has evolved; I was halfway tempted to buy one just to show you the error of your ways which would have almost certainly been more expensive for me than you...

I heard and understood the problems that this could cause beyond the minors themselves: a control of the market, a huge profit for the sellers of asic and in addition a non existent support. And no, I do not have the means to buy an asic, I do not even have a decent video card to mine. Both hard fork has been tested with 1 CPU with a hashrate between 60 and 240H / s: my mac. I am now waiting for the arrival of a Vega64 that was kindly given to me : I will now be able to test GPU miners

My IRD personnal wallet balance is 35k and did not sell one IRD. The team balance is now at 9k.
I'm currently working on the way to block asic, the most efficient and easier to maintain. Feel free to send me every documentation, other forks, asic doc... I need to be feeded.
You can also send donations even in IRD, it is always nice and we feel supported
