Apart from the atomic swaps i see no big advantage for Polis. For ALQO there is a promising roadmap with liberio (new wallet) and Bitfineon (ALQOs own swiss based cryptoexchange). Voting system for anyone owning alqo is already up an running, same for masternodes and listing on masternode sites and exchanges.

Dont get me wrong, i do not want to advocate for ALQO or against Polis, just wanted to get informed. Thanks for your explanations.
