This does not convince me somehow. Forex is a scam yet it's not banned, for example.

Its been around far longer than ICOs and still no ban. So I doubt it...

The whole ban affair wierded me out too. I see its been discussed here quite a lot..in other threads too.

This reminds me that I wanted to head out to another section of the forum and create a thread on this issue..
