if we all played the merit system it would take 20 years to get to legendary when people like you got it so easy before. barely anyone even hands out merits for anything, might as well get rid of all ranks. but i'm sure you feel good about bringing others down, make you feel big and important. shame
The amount of merit required to rank up is
roughly the same as the amount of activity required. As the maximum activity that can be earned is 14 every 2 weeks, earning merit at a rate of 1/day is sufficient to allow you to rank up at maximum speed.
The merit system has been out for 57 days. Taking this thread as an example, excluding you there are 16 unique posters, and 8 of them have earned greater than 57 merit. That's 50%.
Ergo, it's really not that difficult if you post
meritorious material.
