Is $900 realistic? I bought at $900 so I'm hoping I just break even. I don't really think it will hit back to $1000 because of the short pumps and whales taking profit repeating.

I don't really think it will hit back to $1000 because of the short pumps and whales taking profit repeating. 1 ETH will be worth 1 ETH. If you believe in the tech than it doesn't really matter if it is $900 in 2019. Once scaling is implemented we can expect Ethereum to be worth more than it is now.
