Hi All. With regards to the mentioning of the reprogramming of the ECU of a vehicle kindly elaborate on base year from which this will be possible. Older cars do not have reprogrammable ECUs, at least not based on software. Further i really like the project.

We can communicate with cars that are OBDII. That was standard from 1996 onward. We're currently reprogramming/updating the ECU mapping in 1999- network vehicles. We currently work on mainly European cars such as Volvo, VW, and Audi. We're also working with many partners to increase our listings in domestic and import vehicles.
Volvo is among some of the most complex networks in the automotive sector. Testing the Gluon device on Volvo's CAN network has proven to be stable in complex environments.
