Please think about it. If it weren't for whales, prices wouldn't be pumped up. I purchased coins when they were near their highest and at least I have hope because I believe a plethora of whales can pump them back up sometime this year. Even if the project is a great project, there is no way we can expect the coin to rise in value unless there is mass adoption, which I don't see it anytime soon. So therefore, we should not fear whales but rather thank them. 
Why should we hate whales, they are also investors like us, But they are investors with huge funds so they can slightly manipulate and cryptomarket.
If they dump the value of bitcoin they will also pump its value too. When whales buy a coin its price usually pumps, as a small fund investors we should make use of situations and play accordingly.
