Exactly.  There's a pseudo-Latin phrase that I have written on the lock screen of my phone:  "illegitimi non carborundum" which is "Don't let the bastards grind you down".  Keep that in mind and if you're going to be calling these shitbags out on their shenanigans, be prepared for some blowback and--most importantly--don't back down.
