If you do not want to be faint hearted in trading, then you should learn and gather experience from the knowledge you have gained from the books before you even start at all while trying to trade as small as possible when you are gathering those experience. With that, over time, as you keep making good calls, you will start gaining some confidence even as you go bigger. People only get emotional when they do not have any idea of what they are doing.
