Edit: still find it difficult to believe that a brand name commercial PS that powered countless mobos without a hiccup turns out to be out of spec. Or were the caps bought at a Thai massage parlor?
It is odd. But I have seen it before. (not this exact issue). I've seen things that worked great for multiple things just refuse to work on one particular model. Electronics seem to have problems with daemonic possession
