I always dream of a world where whales and big fishes have no control over the cryptocurrency world, this big players can fraustrate cryptocurrency, i wish there are other things which can determine the price flauntuation except demand and supply,
It will be possible if the crypto currency users increases more so the whales influence will get decrease because that the crypto currency will spread to all persons so the whales don't have enough quantity to manipulate the prices.
Maybe, but there are bigger whales out there that simply don't care to mess around in a volatile market. Once the space gets big enough I think we will see bigger whales and I don't think they will lose their influence anytime soon. Also demand and supply effect crypto but the mainstream media also has been effecting the markets based on all the "bans" in the last 6 months.
I think as time goes by, we will see those so called whales lose their influence or at least lessen it when the ocean becomes bigger. Right now though they still waves their power because they have enormous amount of bitcoin. But when other big institutional investors or Wall Street investors gets in, there will be competition amongst them resulting of their actions (dumping/selling) not that significant anymore.
