I want to imagine that you are assuming bitcoin to be the only currency being used globally. This is going to end up being an asset and while some would buy the idea of using it as a currency which would actually make it worthwhile when you are going anywhere in the world without having to exchange fiat to fiat and only have your bitcoin in your possession, I do not see how it is going to end up being used fully.

Scenarios may change though, as we may get to see mainstream adoption, but I guess we may have to get to that stage first before knowing where we are headed.
