At dawn of a warm day of July 2017, a guy called Merkur was dissatisfied with the traditional travel agencies which have expensive fees, slow processes and - obviously - can't be paid with cryptos. Merkur was convinced he could do better. So he did. He gathered other motivated people around him, and Booko was born. Their aim is to solve these issues, adding tons of new features and a nice GUI. Booko is going to be a cryptocurrency travel platform allowing people to book travels anywhere, by paying with a large panel of cryptocurrencies (and with a voting system you will be able to submit your favorite coin). Booko is also launching its own token based on Ethereum blockchain, that will be used in a similar manner as hotel points. Booko tokens will be issued as rewards with every booking, and may be used to pay your next trip or to be traded on exchanges market.
Booko has been launched in march 2018, but has been created in mid-2017. The team is composed of 4 core members specialized in their own domain, working hard to construct a solid community of members who can help them to make this project better, and to take part in the adventure. Merkur's aim is that Booko becomes the most popular and reliable cryptotourism agency.
