I would recommend that everyone use the Fusionwallet.io I tried the Myetherwallet but it requires more time to understand in my opinion.

The ETH fee for my upcoming stake transaction is exactly 0.00477186 ETH using Fusion wallet which is not much but if I knew before I transferred the XGR I would have converted a few XGR for ETH.
I bought $50 of ETH (have to wait a week through Coinbase) which I will then send to my Fusion wallet.

The ETH just has to be in the wallet. The fees will be taken automatically only if you choose to stake
