Twitter confirms restrictions for cryptocurrency ICOs and cryptocurrency token sales: 'the change legally comes into effect today, and will be rolled out over the next 30 days'

Twitter official:
We are committed to ensuring the safety of the Twitter community. As such, we have added a new policy for Twitter Ads relating to cryptocurrency. Under this new policy, the advertisement of Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and token sales will be prohibited globally. We will continue to iterate and improve upon this policy as the industry evolves.

Each of the major players did the same lately (fb, google); this means lower visibility for ICOs and crypto in general, but also (maybe) less scamming of new people.

Should we worry about this in the long run?  Huh

It changes nothing
There are twitter bounties which tweet and retweet
Only adverts are stopped
Which even saves few bucks for ico promoters

Less to worry about

Google would have an ico too
And twitter wil follow suit
Lets observe and do the right things
