Airdrop is a giveaway coins (tokens) for some simple tasks ( e.g. signing in with email,  participating in social media campaign, holding given coin etc. ) and it's limited to some participant depend to the Airdrop maker.
Purpose of airdrops is to spread the coins/tokens among people and/or to spread the word about this new coin/token.
