My speculation, maybe they do not know bitcoin or do not know how to use bitcoin, when in fact they admit that bitcoin is better than gold.
When it comes to price, gold price is more stable than bitcoin. Bitcoin price is so volatile. When it comes to investment, gold is not that risky unlike bitcoin.
