Maybe or maybe not, For now lets see if ETH can surpass bitcoin, EHT has a potential to surpass bitcoin but its a very difficult task to make because bitcoin is still the basis of all crypto currencies.
ETH will not surpass the Bitcoin and it will take many years to reach that value, because Bitcoin has potential and the supply of BTC is very low compared to ETH.
The price of ETH drops much faster than that of btc, which means the ETH is not so solid as btc, or there are more support from the btc. So I think there is no much possibility to achieve that goal.
