She is a graduate student researching the Bitcoin community, not market (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=308727.msg3311237#msg3311237). Her request appears genuine. Like most academic research this will probably go nowhere, but I do think it is a good summary of other questions asked here occasionally.
