This is really sohcking. I was interested in EGEM because it seemed like a good opportunity and a cleaner ELLA with no centralization.
But from the look of things, these guys are really scammers. They advertised no premine, but there's a huge premine as some people have already pointed out. Just check the address:

EGEM is really a huge nightmare after I saw this, and then looked up its history. Turns out it was originally called "ELLAGEM." But then the devs couldn't even agree on which coin they wanted to base themselves off of. So they decided to go off of the more popular ethereum, and somehow, despite all the code, they did some night hours monkeying and changed their whole coin so that it runs as an Ethereum clone instead rather than an Ella clone, so now it's EtherGem LOL.

And now they sneakily put in this premine... oh no....
This is just the first day. Things will be corrected. No premine. We are working out the details now. More info to follow.
