There are a few key differences between Verasity and other projects. A lot of the details are within our Whitepaper, but here are some of the top line differences:

• Verasity is built upon our existing video platform. Our video technology is already used by third parties to deliver over 8 Petabytes of data per month! You can try out our player and proof of concept VeraWallet that is built into the player here: https://verasity.io/?veraplayer.
• Our video delivery uses media acceleration efficiency, QUIC and other optimizations that enable a great viewing experience while remaining cost-effective. We believe that a great viewing experience on a global basis is essential the adoption of any video service. We do not utilize peer-to-per video distribution.
• Our team has developed patent-pending Proof-of-View (PoV) technology to verify that all views on our platform are real. This has many benefits for all users such as making recommendations more accurate, higher advertising revenue and preventing fake views from distorting the true value of content.
• To help video creators fund their growth, we are launching the Spark Marketplace. This allows creators to sell a part of their future earnings for VERA in the form of VeraSparks. Users who buy these VeraSparks then receive a percentage of that channels future earnings, can re-sell the VeraSpark on the marketplace and can earn rewards for holding VeraSparks for longer periods of time. For Creators, this gives a way to fund growth in everything from new camera equipment all the way up to feature films!
